Stay Overnight
Lindsberg's ecological course center and youth hostel is located in Bergsgården, close to Falun in Dalarna.
The building is located in an area that is considered cultur historically important enough that UNESCO has given the area the status “world inherritance” (in good company with the pyramides of Egypt and the great chinese wall). The youth hostel is surrounded by forest, fields and mountains.
The house is approximately 3000 square metres. There is 60 beds in the youth hostel, divided in rooms with 2-10 beds each. In the summertime the hot water is heated by our 30 m2 big suncathcer.
The atmosphear is harmonical and the garden is almost just made for exciting meetings and relaxing.
A few minutes walk to the lake Varpan.
Breakfast can be arranged if booked in advance.
The youth hostel and course center is a non-alcoholic place.
Smoking is allowed only outside in the garden, the balcony or at the steps.
We have a big library with books and magazines.

Stay over without breakfast: 130 SEK / night

The easiest way to Falun is by Swebus 0200-218 218 or train 0771-75 75 75.

With your own car, first alternative:
Follow the road 80 to Rättvik from falun for approximately 8 km. Turnbright, BERGSGÅRDEN (bärsgårn), Drive about 800, turn left at the bus stop and the mailboxes, follow the yellow sign, LINDSBERG, you will see a big yellow house after 1 km, on the right side, that’s Lindsberg.
With your own car, second alternative:
Follow the road 80 to Rättvik from Falun for about 300 meters, turn right at the sign STENNÄSET. Follow the road by the lake, pass the sign BERGSGÅRDEN turn right at the sign LINDSBERG.
By bus:
The bus 60 (260) to Stennäset – Bjursås starts at the rail road-station in Falun via the big square. You can also take bus 70 heading for Rättvik – Mora. There is a bus almost every hour. The bus stop is the second in Bergsgården, but Stennäset have to be marked in the timetable.Welcome!
